| Ok, heres the situation. My wheel has been shaking slightly during braking, so yesterday I put on brand new rotors. I worked on other things and never drove the car until tonight to go to work (where i'm at now). The shaking is now 10 times worse. From reading other posts about shaking I realize that the hub could be dirty, tension rods bad, need braking in etc. My dilemma is that I work until late tonight and would rather take my car to Belle Tire early tomorrow before we take off and have them check out what is causing this at the same time. Do you think the old pads are still causing the shaking? I was planning on having them install new pads and if that doesn't help, maybe turn the new rotors if needed. Does anyone know if they have the right equipment? Other info: -one ten rod looks perfect, one looks slightly warn (some goo). -I torqued the calipers (100ft/lb) and wheels (80ft/lbs) back on evenly with a quality torque wrench. No other parts changed. -I did not clean the new brakes a thoroughly as I would have liked, but they didn't seem as covered as usual. - yes i know i'm an idiot for doing this two days before leaving and for not testing before I left for work. thanks
